Victor Gobitz

Victor Gobitz is a renowned entrepreneur in the mining sector, with more than 30 years of experience in the management of open pit and underground mining operations and projects. He holds a degree in mining engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, an MBA from the ESAN School of Business Administration and specialized studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Kellogg School of Management. Gobitz has been president of the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers from 2020 to 2022. He has also been general manager of mining companies such as Rio Alto, Milpo and Buenaventura, and is currently president and general manager of Antamina.
