Luis Madrazo Lajous

As country manager of Argentine fintech Ualá in Mexico, his mission is to strengthen the operations and growth of this unicorn in the country. Madrazo spent more than 15 years at Mexico’s Finance Ministry and was responsible for implementing the fiscal consolidation process during the administration of former President Enrique Peña Nieto. The economist graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) holds a PhD in Economics from Yale University and also served as corporate director of financial planning at Scotiabank Mexico.
